PS: No vodka in the fishtank! Wednesday 25th June 2008, 10:29 PM
What an interesting day. I’ve finally been paid and just happy since it was a little later this month then many. I spent some time after work getting a haircut, then went to go to an alcohol store in Compton Street to get absolute vodka that has stripes on it making pride flag. Apparently it’s only sold in Selfridges so I made my way to there, taking some random streets to get from Soho to Bond Street.
Walking down Hanover street I passed a hairdresser. In the window they had a 3 foot glass vase filled to the top with water and had fish in, a plant and some large smooth stones in. It looked really good. 3 doors along they where selling exactly the same vase (obviously with no fish in). Out of curiosity I checked the price, they where having a sale, and it was £30. Its not as heavy as it looks though, I had to carry it home from london!
I now have a large vase filled with water in my room, I just need some Phoxinus, Reef, a few stones, and in my case, you know its an excuse to get some lights on it too
