Brighton and beyond... *UPDATED* Monday 3rd August 2009, 12:28 AM
Just departing Liverpool street and have about 25 minutes to arirve at goodmayes.
Well Brighton WAS a complete washout, that seemed to be the only texts I was seeing over the weekend. Was great to see alex, since he is rather a fox. Me and alex me last year over pride 08, when I spent a bit of time getting to know him. He's rather friendly, very comical and doesn't look half bad either. We seem to be into the same type of men visually s that's something to talk about, although I can assure my conversation span goes sllghtly further than that. I'll have aplologize should my grammar be bad, my phone is gettin slightly slower and is having a sllght trouble keeping up with my keyboard skills.
I saw alex's iPhone 3Gs and was immediately impressed with the voice control which seemed to work flawlessly with not only his, but my voice too, also the latest iPhone seems to be a sight faster than my original, which is rather nice to have.
Wasn't A bad time at Brighton, was just slightly concerned about mine and alex's phone since he's was very new and mine we where drenched from tip to toe. Bit considering I'm writing this blog, my
phones ok, alex's too.
I rounded my weekend off with a date with a guy from msn that I've spoke to over the years, but sadly never met. He's a rather handsome gentlemen oozing masculinity, and is great to talk to, guess we'll see how that goes... Well at my station now.... Nite!x
Update!
We had a couple of people with us in Brighton; Paul, Emmy, and I came up to Brighton, and do martial arts together, that's out main connection. Chris and SImon are a couple and have a mate, Alex in Brighton that we saw last year.
Friday night we went to R bar in Brighton to see Simon, where he works and had a couple of drinks there, he finished at 2am and went back their new place in preperation for pride Saturday. Paul made some fantastic pancakes Saturday morning, then made our way to one of brightons main streets for the parade to begin. There where floats of servicemen to airline services to small companies that where located in Brighton too. We followed the parade to Preston park where the main events are; stalls, party tents, food etc.
I didn't mind, but it seems that this and last year me and Alex seem to loose the rest of the crowd so naturally boosted the amount of alcohol and went off to the dance tent. The cloud seemed to just rip open with heavy rain soaking both of us head to toe. Alex's iPhone is rather new so he was rather concious of his phone, and in this rain, nowhere was safe! We formed a search party for umbrellas, but was quickly abandoned upon realising that most stalls where sold out.
I think that the rain did ruin the atmosphere for pride alot since the wild fruit dance tent didn't seem to have the vibe that it had last year, it was a fantastic setup with lasers scanning around, and there would some great tracks playing but failed to be a major crowd pleaser, everyone was too pre-occupied dipping their fingers in their little White bags of powder... We decided to make a move after half an hour.
That night we moved back to chris' where we freshend up and moved back out to the street bars and rounded the night off with something to eat, and play semi-naked twister.
In other news, I've got my bike leather bottoms, so feel much safer on the road, and look more the part too. Were trying to find Paul a small little run around so he cab make his way to work for when me move out later this year I you see anything dirt cheap, and in good condition, let either one of us know.
Was absolutely chuffed to see John, from Hawaii '08 sign in on MSN the other day, and was great to see him, he looked good and may come to London later this year. He's currently in Iraq, So i guess I'll see how it goes...
