Its been a pretty god time to test my skils lately having fixed a friends laptop, working on a foreign laptop with a BT home hub, and building my new PC.
A lot of my money has gone into this PC, just to safeguard it for the future. its an Intel Quad Core Extreme QX9650 3Ghz, with 2GB of DDR3 Ram, The motherboard is running at 1066Mhz FSB although my processor has the potential to go up to 1333Mhz, nice! the graphics card is a Radeon Pro, although Im not sure of the model.
Having just reinstalled vista on my new hard drive I bought, My 10,000 RPM Raptor with a window built in to the top, is quite interesting to watch, although the rate that it loads, it like a hard drive on steriods! window load up in about 30 seconds, and shut down in about 10, which is nice but i need to let the hard drive settle in and they where all with updates, so they needed to be added.
I had to buy a new case since the heatsink for the processor was 13cm! massive! It does run extremely quiet, and I may even work on reducing the fan speed of the PSU since thats just noisy!
Im a little intruged about service pack 1 for vista, mind you with the new system I havnt had any problems, so it may have been my motherboard....

Yeah its a beast of a pc, i just wish my bloody case would hurry up, since having a motherboard on your desk isnt the most orthodox way to do it.... :p
